Tosta brought the message of Donostia 2016 to Wales through a travelling cultural embassy. Its third stage opened in Ceredigion after the arrival by ship of containers carrying work from the European Capital of Culture programme.
Tosta and Europe’s minority languages
The contents included an audiovisual work by San Sebastián artist Uxue Arzelus, created during her residency in Ceredigion. It explored Welsh and Basque speakers. The Tosta embassy aimed to encourage exchange between Europe’s minority language communities and cultures.
