Container changing rooms for the Provincial Council

E-cont Work

These container changing rooms for the Provincial Council combine a partitioned interior with exterior graphics linked to rowing. Aurtenetxea Containers adapted a white container with branded outer walls and interior spaces lined with OSB board.

Photographs of the installation in Bilbao show the Arraunlari Beteranoak identity and the Spanish message «Embárcate en la integración», meaning “embark on inclusion”. High-level windows, internal doors and the wall finishes show how a container can be arranged for changing facilities beside an outdoor activity area.

Customizable

The options are many as long as the habitability, watertightness and insulation standards are met. Both inside and outside you can paint, line wood, cladding, panels, etc.

Low prices

We are reusing a maritime container to adapt it to our needs, a transformation system that is already very present in countries such as Japan, the Netherlands or England and that allows us to offer anti-crisis prices, high qualities and short delivery times.

The containers we use are perfectly standardized, the most common being 10, 20 and 40 feet.

Each container is different, but similar in its resistant characteristics that make them suitable for transport.

The floor of the containers is in solidarity with the outer frame and the steel pillars. They are originally watertight and waterproof. They can be joined together by rigid or mechanical joints, and are stackable up to 5-6 heights depending on the load and use.

Energy saving

Factors such as sun protection, temperature, exposure environment and energy efficiency must be considered. There are systems that allow you to have a sustainable container and save energy depending on the use: recyclable materials, low environmental impact, high energy efficiency carpentry, energy saving installations using solar panels connected to underfloor heating, etc.

Versatility

Depending on the needs, they could be adapted to:

  • Temporary or stable residence of one, two, three rooms or more.
  • Office modules.
  • Temporary businesses: kiosks, security posts, tourist office, stands, etc.
  • Modules or annexes to the houses: tools houses in the garden, guest house or room modules.
  • Bungalows located in camping.

Container changing rooms with separate spaces

Partitions and doors divide the interior. The photographs show an open room and a doorway leading to a separate area with a washbasin. This arrangement distinguishes the spaces within the module and provides privacy from the surrounding outdoor area.

OSB board remains exposed on the walls and ceiling, while the floor has a reddish finish. Linear lighting, electrical sockets and high-level windows complete the visible interior fittings.

Exterior graphics connected to rowing and inclusion

The white exterior of these container changing rooms provides a background for black and red graphics. One side carries a silhouette of rowers alongside a message in Spanish and Basque; the opposite side features the word “BOGA!”. The Bizkaia, BBK and Arraunlari Beteranoak logos are part of the graphic design.

Wider photographs place the module beside a walkway and footbridge in Bilbao. The project keeps the container’s recognisable shape and uses its external surfaces for identification, while the interior is arranged for changing-room use.

What the project gallery shows

The seven photographs cover the interior fit-out and the exterior installation. They provide complementary views of the layout, finishes and branding, from the internal partitions to the module in its surroundings.

To assess changing facilities for your site, we need the expected number of users, preferred layout, available utility connections and delivery access conditions. These details allow us to identify the equipment your project needs. Tell us about your project and request a quote.
